Jensen Beach sits on the Indian River Lagoon, just north of Stuart and south of Fort Pierce. Boats here work out of the St. Lucie Inlet, so running gear sees a mix of brackish lagoon water and clean offshore salt. That combination keeps barnacle growth on a steady, year-round curve.

Yes. Nettles Island is part of our regular Jensen Beach route. We handle hull cleaning, zinc replacement, and prop service for boats in both the main marina and private dock slips.
How does lagoon water affect cleaning schedule?
Indian River Lagoon water is brackish with high nutrient levels, which accelerates algae and soft-growth buildup. For boats kept on slips in Jensen Beach we typically recommend cleaning every three weeks, or every two weeks during the summer peak.
