How often should you clean your boat's bottom in South Florida?

In warm South Florida waters, we recommend hull cleaning every 3 to 4 weeks. During the warmer summer months (May through September), rapid barnacle and algae growth may require service every 2 to 3 weeks to prevent permanent gelcoat damage and severe performance loss.

Can you clean the hull while the boat is in the water?

Absolutely. Our commercial divers use specialized underwater equipment to scrub your hull, clean raw-water intakes, and polish running gear right from your slip or dock. You avoid the cost of a haul-out and the downtime of a yard visit, and most cleanings take between 1 and 3 hours.

How do I know my zinc anodes need replacing?

Zinc anodes generally need replacement when they are 50% depleted. Depending on marina stray currents, this usually occurs every 4 to 6 months. Our divers visually inspect your zincs during every cleaning and will only replace them when necessary to protect your vital metal components.

Do you provide proof of completion?
