Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our commercial diving process, scheduling, and protecting your vessel's bottom paint.

How often should I have the bottom of my boat cleaned?

In South Florida (from Palm Beach down to Miami), we heavily recommend a 3-week to 4-week cleaning rotation. During the summer months, the water temperature rises significantly, creating an incubator for marine life. Algae can form in days, and hard barnacles can take hold in less than two weeks.

Waiting too long forces divers to scrape much harder to remove heavy growth, which inadvertently strips your expensive anti-fouling bottom paint. Frequent, gentle wiping extends the life of your paint job by years.

What is "Galvanic Corrosion" and why are Zinc Anodes important?

Galvanic corrosion occurs when two dissimilar metals are submerged in saltwater, creating an electrical current that causes the weaker metal to literally dissolve. If left unchecked, this current will attack your expensive bronze propellers, stainless steel shafts, and trim tabs.

We install "sacrificial" Zinc Anodes that deliberately corrode instead of your boat's hardware. Once a zinc is 50% depleted, it loses its effectiveness and must be replaced immediately by a diver.

How do I know the diver actually cleaned my entire hull?

Transparency is our core value. Unlike other services that leave a vague invoice, we provide high-definition before-and-after underwater photos with our dive reports. We take photographs of your raw water intakes, propellers, transducers, and waterline, so you know exactly what was done.

Are your divers licensed and insured to work in commercial marinas?

Yes. Every one of our divers carries full commercial marine liability insurance. We are pre-approved to operate in major marinas such as Bahia Mar, Pier Sixty-Six, and local yacht clubs without any administrative friction.

Do you offer emergency or one-off services for transient vessels?

Absolutely. If you are just passing through South Florida, heading over to the Bahamas, or have a severe entanglement (wrapped a rope around your prop), we offer rapid-dispatch emergency services. Just use our Automated Booking Flow or call us directly.
